Business Director / Client Partner (CRM) – Exceptional Boutique Agency – Central London – c£80k+ with bonus
This customer engagement (CRM) agency in Central London is a real gem. Small, yet perfectly formed they continue to punch above their weight with a host of very long-standing client relationships.
With their incumbent Business Director about to emigrate, they are now looking for a Business Director / Client Partner / Client Director who can elevate what they do and take them to the next level.
The agency will also consider an ambitious Senior Account Director who is looking to step up.
This is the most senior client services role at the agency, after the CEO. There is also real potential for the successful candidate to head up the Client Services function of the agency as it grows.
This is a ‘challenger agency’ that is looking to take on the CRM establishment. Quite simply, they help brands create and keep customers.
They know how to engage when it matters most, to nurture interest and desire, increase conversion and customer value and keep customers for longer.
Their point of difference is that they work with psychologists to understand not just what people do but why they do it.
The Business Director role
Reporting to the CEO, you will be their right-hand person and the agency’s classic ‘number 2’.
The agency has a growing portfolio of clients across a range of sectors and they’re looking for someone to nurture and develop those client relationships and the client services team that makes things happen.
The agency has a small but hugely knowledgeable account handling team (2 x SAMs and 1 x AD) in place which you would manage with an additional Account Manager joining soon also.
An inspirational, positive leader and trusted client advisor, you have a passion and flair for customer engagement, supported by a track record of successful client relationships.
Due to their size and ambition, the agency wants someone who is happy to roll up their sleeves; someone who enjoys engaging in the work itself as much as the planning that goes into it.
As an experienced people manager, you will help the agency foster the right conditions to deliver quality work, a positive team spirit and a healthy profit.
Essential skills and attributes
- Emotionally intelligent, a team player, positively ambitious
- Well versed and confident in customer engagement and CRM
- Experience in the key CRM tech players – Salesforce etc
- Active interest in the world of customer engagement, marketing, business and the world at large
- A confident, inspirational communicator who presents with gravitas
- Ability to proactively seek and convert opportunities on existing and new business
- Strong relationship builder at all levels
- Excellent people manager with an ability to inspire, motivate, mentor and build commitment
- Proven track recording in delighting and exceeding client expectations
- Strong negotiation skills
- Results driven
- Experience in the energy / utilities sector preferred but NOT essential

Competitive salary (c£80k +) plus a bonus scheme linked to agency revenue and profitability, alongside a great benefits package commensurate with the seniority of the role.
