Job Description

A world leader in direct response TV and digital fundraising, this mid-sized purpose-led agency is looking for an Assistant Campaign Manager to join its friendly, supportive team.

Italian language skills are required for the role as you will be working with a number of Italian clients – if you are fluent that would be ideal but a good working proficiency of Italian is otherwise required.

Any knowledge of call centre practices and their key role in customer support and conversion of enquirers would also give you a definite advantage.

You don’t need to be a current UK resident, but if not, you would need to be willing to relocate to the UK and have the right to work in the UK.

Flexible working hours, a lot of fun, generous holidays and long-weekenders (one Friday off work each month) are all available with this role.

The agency

This 50-strong independent agency inspires people to support good causes through direct response television and digital video. Essentially, they use film to help inspire current donors to continue to keep giving.

These exceptional, forward-thinking ‘direct-marketing fundraisers’ work with 60+ NGOs and iNGOs – the large and not so large – in more than 25 countries, covering a wide range of issues from humanitarian and conservation causes to health and the environment.

The role

Working closely with call centres, media agencies, phone and SMS suppliers, you’ll help to set up campaigns, monitor and help optimise results and advise on best practice from a response point of view for direct response campaigns through TV, radio and digital.

Dealing with multiple campaigns across different countries, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Liaising with clients / call centres / suppliers to ensure that campaigns are set up and tested ahead of live date
  • Scheduling fundraiser training sessions
  • Input into call centre scripts
  • Monitoring of results and feeding back to call centres / clients with insight and ways to improve performance
  • Weekly meetings with producers, clients and call centres

Skills required

Training will be provided but you’ll need to bring your proactive skills and a team-minded approach.

  • Strong project management skills are key, especially as the agency works across several clients in different time zones
  • Excellent communication skills and passion for building trusting relationships with call centres / SMS suppliers / media agencies
  • Keen eye for detail for excellent set-up of campaigns, producing accurate reports and researching potential new call centres
  • Italian language skills – you’ll need this to work with the agency’s Italian clients. There’ll be trips to various European cities too!

The agency always puts its people’s mental and physical health first. They are currently spending six days in the office per month in line with government guidelines – or more if you wish.
