(Junior) Account Manager - Independent Fundraising Agency - To £32k

The agency

This close-knit agency develops outstanding fundraising strategies and materials. With over 30 experienced creative fundraisers, they want to work with likeminded people and clients who share their ethos.

The Account Manager role

At minimum you need to be an experienced Senior Account Executive or Junior Account Manager but you will be hired as an Account Manager!

The team consists of a SAD, JAD, SAM x 2 an Account Manager, plus this vacant AM role - so a six-person account handling team.

The agency specialises in direct marketing including direct mail which comprises around 90% of what they do. The remainder is digital.

NO direct marketing experience is required, however - all the training you will need in both DM and in fundraising can be learnt ‘on the job.’

A minimum of 1-1.5 years' agency-side experience, however, is required alongside a passion to work in the not-for-profit sector, enthusiasm, organisation, confidence and a sense of fun!

The clients

Your clients will include some of the world’s most notable charities covering the environment, refugees, poverty, humanitarianism and the countryside.

Work from home policy

This is a hybrid role with the team coming into the office 2 to 3 days a week.

  • A passion for good causes
  • Great at building strong relationships with clients and colleagues
  • Confident face-to-face presentation skills
  • Able to write briefs
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines

Experience

  • At least one year’s solid account handling experience in an agency
  • Direct marketing, fundraising or production skills are helpful but not essential
