About the Role
The Account Director role leads a set of accounts within the agency ensuring they are profitable and growing. They take responsibility for the delivery of quality creative work that meets the client's needs and addresses their business problems and must champion that work. They do so through the effective management of their own team, and their ability to lead and inspire others inside and outside the agency. Channels include TV, OOH, Print, Social and Digital and accounts will include gaming, alcohol, transport, retail/fashion, and a supermarket food brand. Plenty to get stuck into!
Good working knowledge of MS Office/Google tools, including Word, Excel, Project and PowerPoint.
Familiarity with social networks, how to use them and application to client's business and objectives.
Strong interpersonal and organisation skills.
Experience of through the line production and campaign delivery
Experience of leading accounts and line managing.
A desire to achieve high quality standards with strong attention to detail
Strong verbal and writing skills.
Self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit who is solution oriented and able to think on their feet.
Leading and inspiring direct and indirect team including creative teams and those in other agencies working on the same account.
Challenge the status quo - Never Satisfied.
Takes action/ decisions with consideration for both client and agency interests.
Displays high levels of commercial acumen.
Ability to remain calm under pressure.
A flexible office approach – 2 or 3 days a week in the office.
This is an Account Director position however the agency are open to candidates at Senior Account Manager level who are ready to lead accounts and able to demonstrate sound commercial experience.
