R13 Recruitment are supporting a fantastic business in their search for a Business Development Coordinator to join their team. This will be a varied role, where you will be responsible for utilising social media, marketing and networking events to acquire new business, driving sales and company expansion.

This is a full time, permanent position, working Monday to Friday, on a remote basis. Please note the candidate must be based in the North of England. The offered salary for this opportunity is up to £30,000 depending on experience.

The day to day

• Acquiring new business through, utilising social media to build connections and generate leads.
• Conducting meetings with prospective clients, and onboarding them into the business.
• Attending networking events, representing the brand and utilising business networks to find new clients.
• Assisting the marketing team in delivering company events.
• Analysing business trends, developing and delivering sales strategies and meeting KPI’s.

You will have/be

• Proven experience in a B2B sales or business development role, ideally within the manufacturing industry.
• Exceptional communication skills, and ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships.
• Proactive approach, and able to think outside the box and develop innovative sales strategies.
• Strong IT skills, and good working knowledge of Microsoft Office platforms.
