Head of Marketing - South Yorkshire Based
Elevation Recruitment are proud to be the exclusively retained partner to Omega PLC to recruit a Head of Marketing to be based in their South Yorkshire office.
Omega PLC is a leading supplier and manufacturer of premium bespoke quality kitchen furniture brands Sheraton®, Mackintosh®, English Rose® and Chippendale®. Proudly based in Yorkshire, with an operational site of over 400,000 sq.ft, Omega PLC takes both retail and contract customers from design right through to delivery ensuring each kitchen is at its best.
This is a newly created position, part of the Senior Leadership Team. As Head of Marketing this role will include key areas such as;
*Assume ownership for the marketing budget - monitoring, controlling, and adjusting (as necessary) to capture maximum ROI.
*In collaboration with Product Management and the Sales teams, utilise an intimate understanding of customers and the buyer journey to design and execute effective Go-To-Market plans and strategies.
*Build systems and processes that will track and report on key performance metrics, using data to drive campaign optimisation and continuous improvement across core marketing activities.
*Lead, manage and coach the marketing team in meeting company goals
*Drive the family of brands to maximise their market potential, through creative and effective retail and contract propositions that exceed customer expectations
*Spearhead the exploration of Digital - content marketing, SEO and social media to provide added value to customers and acquire new ones
*Continue to build proactive relationships with external partners and agencies
*Delivery of an annual PR & Communications plan working closely with the consultant and Omega's brand ambassador
*Work in partnership with the Head of Sales to present annualised and customer specific range plans, focusing on all aspects of commercialisation (POS, merchandising, story-telling, promotion/launch and product placement)
Skills and Experience:
*BA/BS degree in marketing
*Experience of successfully leading and developing teams.
*Strong business and financial acumen and understanding of overall business objectives with a proven track record of delivering sustainable and profitable growth.
*Extensive generalist marketing experience, with an excellent mix of strategic and operational experience
*Ability to create thoughtful and effective communication strategies and execute against them.
*Extremely strong writing and editing experience, including the ability to write social PR, website content and "thought pieces".
*Track record of creating highly successful multi‐channel campaigns and implementing impactful product launches.
