Business Development Executive
£19k - £22k + 5% commission of the sales they make
An opportunity to join this wonderful, market-leading publishing company, event organiser and digital services provider, as they undertake an exciting phase of growth and move to a large new city-centre office.
This company are looking to hire ambitious, and enthusiastic sales professionals to join this fun team, with an entrepreneurial fast-moving culture and passion for new tech! This role will also provide the opportunity to travel to incredible event locations including London, Amsterdam, and LA! Also, hard-working candidate will find several exciting opportunities for progression and accelerated career development, as they receive training and support in the role from experience sales managers.
In your role as Business Development Executive, you will generate new sales leads from your own research, identify and pitch decision makers, and work to achieve monthly sales targets. You will maintain your pipeline and prepare pipeline reports using the company's CRM. The role requires high levels of energy, drive, resilience, and tenacity.
Successful applicants will be focused and have strong communication skills. They should be able to think on their feet when pitching to new customers, happy to take ownership of (and deliver against) personal and team commercial targets.
All we ask from candidates is that they are educated to a degree level or have a background in sales, as well as being a great presenter and negotiator and having excellent research skills. In addition, you should have great organisational abilities and an interest and understanding of major technology trends.
