Exciting opportunity for a Member Experience Coordinator to join a private members club


Member Experience Coordinator (marketing and events)
£20,000-25,000 pro rata
6 months FTC with the opportunity to go permanent
Henley-On- Thames, Oxfordshire

Your new role will be working for a high-end private members club. With their site on the river Thames in Henley, you will be working with the Member Experience Manager to support and organise all member and prospective member events including those for prospects, applicants, Interest Groups, Club, private events as well as coordinating the marketing and communications for the club.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and organise event delivery as part of the Member Experience Team ensuring Club standards are being delivered
  • Run events effectively working closely with the Operations Teams to ensure events run smoothly
  • Promote new Memberships through Open Evenings and personal tours and attend new Member evenings as required
  • Work with and support marketing with promotion of events, internal and external communications, and literature updates
  • Generate Member initiatives and ideas to support the retention of current Members and attract new Members



Personal Profile:

  • Experience in similar events or marketing roles
  • Computer literacy including Microsoft Office suite of software (Excel, Word, Outlook and the Internet) and CMS systems
  • Experience or exposure to marketing including updating of websites, literature and social media posts
  • The ability to work effectively during busy periods, communicate well with others, be creative and generate ideas for Member retention
  • This role will also require occasional weekend work, as well as bank holidays
