A public body that supports healthcare-based stakeholders, continuously working to increase safety/improve practice, alongside maintaining regulations and improving education. The organisation has a huge head office function in Manchester city centre, however role is working remotely. Fixed term contract for 12 months.
Your new role
As Internal Communications Officer you will be working closely with the Internal Communications Manager to support in the delivery of the full internal communications programme. You will proactively link up with colleagues to understand what is happening across the organisation in order to deliver important communications to staff, as well as supporting the planning and implementation of activities and events.
You will be developing and delivering a range of internal communication plans and campaigns, identifying the most effective channels, tools and messages to engage audiences and maximise reach.
What you'll need to succeed
You must have at least 1-2 years' experience within an Internal Communications role and be an experienced writer who enjoys working on digital channels. Further to this you must have an appreciation as to how internal communications activities need to integrate with PR and stakeholder communications.
What you'll get in return
You'll receive a day rate of between £120-£150 (depending on experience), working within a supportive and dynamic team. You will gain experience working within a complex organisation, preparing Internal Communications to drive awareness within the business. You will be sent a laptop and a headset to carry out all work remotely.
