This dynamic ‘360’ Central London shop is growing FAST. Backed by a huge global network, you get the best of both worlds – an entrepreneurial, agile environment and the support of an agency giant.
The agency wants to hire an Account Director with a digital / social-led skill set. Candidates should be at junior AD level while strong Senior Account Managers looking to step up to Account Director are also welcome to apply.
This role is exclusive to Fill Recruitment – you won’t find it advertised anywhere else!
This 40-person agency is best described as a start-up with the full backing of a bigger agency network. They are responsible for delivering creative excellence for their key client including all origination.
The agency has a great location just off Tottenham Court Road in Central London with final production taking place ‘in house’ at the client’s HQ.
The client is at a very exciting point as a brand. The account is retained by the agency and a very secure piece of business. You will also have the opportunity to work on new biz, but this key client will be the focus of the role. The agency has recently won a DMA Silver award for its work with the account.
The current team
The current account handling team consists of an Operations Lead, an AD (who is relocating, hence the opening) and 2 Account Managers - who will report to you. Another Account Manager is on their way. The Ops Lead is arguably the best we have ever worked with!
The Account Director role
The Account Director required should be at JAD level. You may have held the AD role for up to six months OR you could be a strong SAM looking to step up to AD level. Strong, client-facing SPMs will also be considered but SAMs / JADs are preferred.
The salary is £45-£50k depending on experience.
The role is very ‘hands on’ so ADs will be actively involved in the ‘doing’ – you don’t need to be overtly strategic, but you do need to be a good thinker.
· You will report into the Operations Lead
· You need to be happy working as part of a team as well as autonomously - self-sufficient and with the ambition to grow
· Digital and social experience is required with good email marketing knowledge / a good understanding of email production an advantage
· A good creative eye is also essential
· You must be a ‘go-getter’ – someone who is self-motivated with bags of personality and the desire to get on and make the role their own
Deliverables will consist of BAU marcoms - predominantly digital comms including social media, emails for mandatory comms / eCRM as well as store collateral / POS, etc.
The agency would like the new AD in place by November with an ideal start date of mid-October to allow for a sufficient hand-over.
Work from home policy
Currently Monday is the only mandatory office-based day with Tuesdays and Thursdays working from home. Wednesdays and Fridays are flexible - you can choose to work from home or in the agency.
Salary and benefits
Salary to £50k plus a host of tempting hard and soft benefits.
Digitally skilled Account Directors, Junior Account Directors and strong Senior Account Managers looking to step up to Account Director level please get in touch as soon as possible.
To be considered for this role, candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK.
Whilst every effort is made to contact all candidates, due to a high number of applications we are unable to give individual feedback to those who are unsuccessful.
