Marketing Director/Head of Marketing – Bristol/London
Bristol based, with regular travel to London
Circa £50k to £55k plus car allowance, bonus and benefits
Hugely successful property consultancy with offices in Bristol and London are now looking for an absolutely first-class marketing director to join the team and help the business,raise profile and increase turnover and profitability.
One of the important aspects of this interesting and exciting role is to work with the senior management team, partners and associates to develop skills in marketing and communications both using traditional marketing techniques and with digital and social media in mind.
You’ll be responsible for all the elements of marketing, business generation, communications and digital marketing, including the management and extension of social media platforms. You’ll be face to face with clients alongside your colleagues, at industry networking events and those organised directly by the business.
The business has a brand new website, about to be launched, to reflect how the company operates in 2021 and for the future, so you’ll need to be comfortable with being able to analyse and present to the board on results and plans for best use.
The business has constant news, stories, events and celebrations, so there’s plenty of information to share with the team, clients and the wider business community.
Your natural and exceptional communication and marketing management skills will stand you in good stead as you develop the marketing and lead generation plans in the line with the organisations business plan. This will be completed using digital marketing, events, networking, business development and innovative PR and communications plans.
You must have several years’ experience of working at a senior marketing level in a professional services background, and ideally a degree or equivalent and/or marketing qualifications.
You’ll be energetic, full of ideas (and be happy to implement the agreed strategy). You need to be very happy with implementation as well as strategy, it’s a hands on role.
Digital and social media marketing must form part of your everyday role at the moment; you need to be super skilled and up to date with the latest innovations in digital communications.
You also need to be very happy with travel to London, regularly, and committed to developing strong relationships with everyone in the business to become the natural go-to when the team have ideas or suggestions for marketing of the business. You also need to be very comfortable in a coaching and mentoring role to help the individual team members understand more about marketing and communciations.
