Virtual Events and Marketing Co-ordinator, Cambridge –
Our client is a fast-growing technology company based in Cambridge, looking for a Digital Events and Marketing Co-ordinator to join the fast expanding, highly creative, marketing team and working closely with the events marketing manager.
This is a new and exciting position, where you will have the opportunity to build relationships within the tech community, and utilise the support of staff when co-ordinating engaging webinars.
They’re certainly one of the market leaders in what they do and have an ever-growing market share… it’s a fantastic time to be joining them, especially within virtual events as these are more and more prevalent in this time.
The Role – Virtual Events and Marketing Co-ordinator
Reporting directly to the Head of Marketing, you will be responsible for:
- Manage the complete webinar process from planning, delivery to outcome
- Working closely with the Events Marketing Manager and Account Manager on Virtual projects and targeted webinars
- Create a strong network within this sector, generate opportunity to feature on external platforms e.g. podcasts and webinars.
In order to be considered you ideally will have:
- 2 – 3 years’ experience of running solely virtual events with a enthusiasm for events, marketing and management
- Understanding of the major webinar platforms
- Content development for abstracts, presentations, and email marketing
This role provides flexibility around remote working once you have settled in, it’s super important that you really embrace the ‘team ethos’ and get to know the co-workers you’ll be working really closely with. That said, they do have structures in place to allow for a split between working from home and working in their excellent office space.
Due to the location of their Cambridge based office, this is commutable from those based in Royston, Stevenage, Hitchin, Letchworth, Duxford, Babraham, Linton, Cambridge, Huntingdon, Saffron Walden, Haverhill, Ely, Bury St Edmunds and Bishop’s Stortford to name a few.
