Business Development Manager - £30-£32k - Edinburgh

Your new company
You will be working with a small charity in Edinburgh as their new Business Development Manager

Your new role
This organisation are looking for a talented and passionate Business Development Manager who will have an important strategic role to play in creating and managing growth in terms of scale and range of this charities activities.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, you will drive the business development plan, identifying opportunities and producing professionally written proposal content that clearly articulates the organisations service offer.The post holder will be a member of the Management Team and will lead on strategic business development activities. This is a networked role that requires strong communication & organisational skills as well as an ability to work under pressure and to meet demanding deadlines.

What you'll need to succeed
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail are vital, as is the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks to meet deadlines. The organisation need someone who is focused and driven, who can work effectively on their own as well as with a team. The Business Development Manager will have a minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of developing business development pipelines.


What you'll get in return
Flexible working options available. The remuneration package will include a competitive salary of £30-£32k, 34 days annual leave (inclusive of public holidays and pro rata if part time), flexible working opportunities, and a generous contributory pension scheme with life insurance policy.

Please note due to COVID-19 restrictions, the recruitment process will be carried out entirely online.The successful applicant will initially be working from home, however once COVID restrictions are eased you will be based at their offices in Edinburgh. At that time an element of continued home working can be considered.
