Your new company
A well know public sector body with employees across the whole of Wales. Over the next 12 months there will be various digital product changes / improvements that you will have direct influence on marketing; including a new website, new e-commerce app and a new retail channel.
Your new role
Due to a promotion and a secondment, this role is an immediate start and will initially be on a fixed term temp contract to March 2022 - with very likely extension or permanent opportunity after that.
In your role as the Digital Marketing Manager, you'll be responsible for driving traffic to the site and app, essentially customer / audience acquisition through digital channels. You'll also be managing the marketing campaigns associated with getting the best possible return out of their two extensive CRM database systems.
This role has a substantial PPC budget, will see you working with a range of affiliates and will be focussing in on that direct customer acquisition mentioned earlier. You'll be comfortable with market segmentation and developing personas for effective marketing campaigns. You'll also be naturally interested in analytics, testing and ROI.
What you'll need to succeed
You'll be a marketer with a real passion for marketing technology and digital campaigns. If you have strong experience in using CRM systems, PPC (which is managed via an agency) and general customer centric marketing. This role sits alongside more traditional marketing, content and comms professionals in a talented team so you'll be well supported.
What you'll get in return
This is an immediate start role with weekly pay up until March 2022 where the contract will be reviewed. The pay is inline with £35,000 salary and 33 days annual leave.
