I am working with a local company who are searching for a Product Specialist & Business Development Executive to join their team.

Job Responsibilities:

Responsible for adding value to customers orders by upselling products; pro-actively calling customers to help build project-based business. Working with the purchasing team to review and maintain stock profile and perform data analysis to support the vendor.

Specialising in a designated vendor or manufacturer, assuming responsibility for any new business which is significantly orientated around that brand.

Must have experience with the IT / IT Wholesale industry to be able to provide quality knowledge

• Working closely with the Sales team to provide quotes to close and upsell companies different options
• Keeping up to date with the continually developing market and looking at new ways to streamline revenue
• Support Sales and Purchasing in ensure all information is correct before going live
• Deliver pro-active projects to encourage the relevant areas to see the company as a trusted advisor and develop new opportunities
• Making calls to pre exciting clients to win back their business
• Organise and prepare sales reports
• Identify new opportunities to expand the companies portfolio
• Monitor APCs stock portfolio
• Monitor EOL and new products to provide information to various teams
• generate market share reports
• Be the go to person for all Product queries

Experience:

• Experience in an inventory- based business would be a bonus
• Experience within a technical based role
• Able to use Excel to create reports
