We are assisting a well-established and luxury retail brand based in Birmingham City Centre, and they are recruiting for a CRM Executive to join the business.

This is mainly an office based role Monday – Friday (with the option of 1 day per week working from home when required).

This role would be ideal for candidates who have proven marketing / CRM experience, with strong experience of designing and managing all e-marketing campaigns and external communications to customers.

Reporting into the Head of Digital Marketing, the focus of the role will be to ensure brand awareness and deliver driving the execution and roll-out of automated campaigns and personalisation tactics to help drive engagement and retention. Key duties and areas of responsibility will include;

  • Working as part of a wider marketing team of c15 people, part of the digital team (c8 people)
  • Develop and optimise external e-marketing communications and email marketing campaigns, delivering valuable content at all times.
  • Responsible for c1-2 new product campaigns per week, welcome and re-engagement communications, which includes the full design and build of content, managing campaign sends and review of performance and analytics
  • Optimise content via personalisation strategies by leveraging user behaviour and activity data to maximise customer retention.
  • Work with paid media specialist to drive lead acquisition and subscriber growth while maintaining high engagement and retention rates.
  • Ensure accurate and targeted database selection, including segment optimisation.
  • Create an ongoing testing strategy, including improvement and refinement of email communication in order to maximise results.
  • Collaborate with the wider team, including the in-house design studio, to create quality content and proof-read any copy that needs reviewing.
  • Analyse and report on the success of all email marketing, identifying areas of opportunity to drive performance.
  • Make data-driven decisions to develop automation and deliver dynamically populated highly personalised content at key points in the customer journey.
  • Develop a strong client retention strategy to increase CLV.
  • Shape the future of the communication strategy, including being involved in a review the current CRM platform and looking at new systems.

For this role candidates will need to have previous marketing experience and have proven experience of CRM systems and e-marketing campaign experience. Candidates from any background will be considered, as full training will be provided on the products / industry. Luxury brand, Retail, Art / Creative or similar industry experience would be advantageous.

Candidates will need to have strong CRM and Email Marketing Platform systems knowledge and experience of working with web analytic tools i.e. Google Analytics. A/B testing, HTML and data insights experience will also be required for this role.
