This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the Communications team at North Herts Council.
As part of our small communications team you will be responsible for:
- Drafting press releases and liaising with our local media
- Helping to compile publications such as our residents’ magazine
- Helping manage our social media presence
- Producing regular internal communications
To do this successfully you will need significant PR or communications experience and be:
- An excellent communicator, both verbally and in writing
- Able to write for a variety of audiences across a range of channels
- Assertive and confident when dealing with senior colleagues and outside parties
- Confident with IT systems and social media
- A team player
