Business Development Manager, Central London, Up to £50k dependant on experience.

This rapidly growing organisation is proud to be one of Europe’s most exciting cleantech companies. They’re now looking for a Business Development Manager to help drive sales and champion their services. This cleantech business is the global leader in converting footfall into off-grid power and data. Their mission is to enable people to change the world. The Business Development Manager will enable just that.

The successful Business Development Manager is going to be the companies ‘champion’ and lead the way in introducing this unique offering to brands, the public sector and / or commercial and corporate clients. This Business Development Manager will be someone who does not want to sell by numbers but is passionate about building relationships and driving expansion into a smarter global future.

This Business Development Manager will have the ability and experience to identify and create opportunities that have the potential to digitally enhance a brand and also have a proven track record in demonstrating to clients how behavioural insights and consumer rewards can enhance a client’s business.

You will join a young team that is inclusive and driven and where you will become a key part of their exciting next growth stage. Your performance and entrepreneurial skill will have a direct bearing on the company and where they go next. Although based in the UK, overseas sales may lead to travel. Generate the right opportunities and you will be expected to follow them across what is a truly global sales operation.

This Business Development Manager’s experience will include:

  • A proven track record in recognising, creating and closing SaaS sales opportunities for a digital product to relevant clients
  • An entrepreneurial vision of driving the sales cycles from initial call through to delivery
  • Experienced account management
  • A desire and ability to bring a new product to market
  • Significant experience of maintaining existing agency and client contracts
  • Minimum of five years’ experience in similar roles
