We are partnering exclusively with this business to recruit the exciting job of Product Manager, to be based in their Hampshire offices with flexible & work-from-home options.
Your new role
As the Product Manager you will be responsible for implementing the product portfolio strategy and managing product lines throughout the product lifecycle. From understanding the market needs and translating these into product and market requirements, working closely with engineering to deliver winning products, managing upgrades and changes during the lifecycle to managing product withdrawals at the end of a products' life.
You will undertake competitor and market research, work with R&D on NPD, create business cases, build relationships in a customer-facing capacity with clinicians, develop relationships with internal teams including sales & exports, and work with the central Marcoms team to define product positions and brief them for launch & campaign plans - depending on the stage of the product lifecycle.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be an experienced Product Manager with a background in physical products - manufacturing, engineering or medical device industry experience is preferred but not essential, with full end-to-end product ownership. You will be a confident communicator, with experience working in cross-functional teams in Global/EMEA/European remits. You will be analytically and financially savvy - able to look at and interpret different forms of sales data to identify product trends. With exposure across all levels of the business up to board level, you will be a self-motivated, confident individual able to build relationships internally & externally. You will possess demonstrated success in defining and launching products that meet and exceed business objectives.
What you'll get in return
You will receive a salary between £60000-£65000 + package (possibility of a car allowance). Working patterns will include a balance of home-working, and the 36.5 hour week includes a 1pm finish on Fridays.
