A really exciting opportunity for a truly external facing sales role within a law firm. This role, for a Regional Sales Lead, is focused on building new business and contacts within the business community in the East Midlands.

You will be looking to build new relationships with listed and owner managed organisations as well as working to create networks and referral opportunities. You will be responsible for building a sales pipeline which will include targeted approaches to firms as agreed with Partners in the region, Tracking follow up on marketing generated leads and ensuring that the internal stakeholders for this position - the wider Marketing and BD function, the Partners and Associates are all doing similar to create a cohesive, joined up approach to market.

New roles are springing up all the time within the legal sector and never so clearly as within the "sales" arena. The idea of having a non lawyer doing the front of house sales element, directly with the client has been a fair while in coming and this is a real opportunity to carve out a reputation and career with an organisation which is renowned for breaking new ground.

To be successful you will need to have a proven track record with Services led sales. Understand the buying process in this sector and have an inquisitive and relationship orientated approach. The role could suit someone in a similar position within another law firm, or more likely maybe someone doing something similar in the Accountancy sector or maybe in banking and FS.

The role is offering a good OTE potential and a generous base salary as well as the suite of benefits that you would expect. It will largely be home based with an expectation to be out in the field regularly. Therefore as your patch is the East Midlands, someone based in or near that part of England will find it advantageous.

In short, this is a new role in a growing firm. A huge opportunity to add immediate value and return and therefore build the function up as it will inevitably spread to other regions within the firm. A great opportunity as it stands with even bigger potential moving forwards.
