Digital Planning Director

As the Digital Planning Director you will be taking responsibility for leading the day-to-day output of the team demonstrating clear, forward-thinking planning with focused attention on upfront planning across all media channels, with a particular focus on digital & video channels & platforms.
The Role:
- Astute knowledge of client’s business challenges, insights and requirements to challenge convention and outdated thinking or processes
- Translating brief objectives and channel budgets into innovative, effective digital plans that leverage the best of what every platform has to offer
- Pioneering new approaches with the biddable and programmatic teams to deliver best-in-class digital campaigns that adhere to our best practice
- Ability to orchestrate responses alongside wider agency teams. Operating effectively at a horizontal and vertical level
The Candidate:
- Experienced Digital Planner
- Media agency experience with time spent initially in digital but now in a planning role.
- You will have experience within key digital performance channels (Paid Search, Programmatic Display & Paid Social and Video); as well as fluency in media planning tools
- Communication skills are critical in this role, so the ability to construct logical and persuasive recommendations is key
- Strong understanding of platforms in the social, programmatic and search landscape with robust knowledge of the unique value each digital platform can bring to the media mix.
- Understand the importance of website and user journey in the wider media planning process.
- Familiar with advanced attribution and measurement solutions to help shape the development of our media planning & delivery output,
- Comfortable and proven track record of 1st, 2nd & 3rd party data knowledge, understanding & application
