Role – Media & Communications Officer

Salary – £45,000 – £51,000

Location – Manchester

Job Type – Fixed Term Contract (up to 12 months)

Oscar Digital have partnered with a non-profit transport company, passionate about improving the strategic transport networks around the country. This company analyse the infrastructure of the transport system and the effect this has on quality of life, as well as the economic state.

Joining the communications team, you will play a lead role on the delivery of both internal and external media and communications activity. Internally, you will work with every team in the organisation, managing issues and turning them into messages for a vast range of audiences. Externally, you will build relationships with external partners, encouraging them to support and promote activity.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver effective media campaigns.
• Lead and engage a team of specialists, monitoring quality of work for maximum performance output.
• Data management, analysis and reporting.
• Partner with other stakeholder business’ to provide professional or technical, media and content advice.
• Review and analyse business models to support senior management in improving processes and systems.
• Proactively identify opportunities to promote, adhering to strict budgets and deadlines.

Requirements:

• Experience working in a communications role, having experience with both internal and external comms.
• Degree or equivalent experience in a relevant subject.
