Bids Manager in a legal firm, based in the North West.
Your new company
A well-known law firm, with a national presence, and a great reputation as an employer. The business has a growing bids team, based in the North West. Due to recent success, there is an opportunity to join the business as a Bids Manager. You will work a hybrid rota with one or two days a week in the Liverpool head office.
Your new role
As Senior Bids Manager, you will be responsible for the bid process, for a variety of high value bids, whilst working closely with various senior stakeholders. You will play a critical role in the bid team, and take ownership of the bid process, as well as working with and challenging pitch teams. Whilst you won't directly manage anyone in this role, you will play a part in mentoring/challenging/developing the other Bid Managers and Executives within the business.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have a clear background of experience within Bid Manager roles, ideally gained within the legal industry, if not a similar professional services type of business. You will have great time management skills, capable of managing multiple workloads and prioritising where necessary, as well as a meticulous attention to detail. You'll have good communication and relationship building skills, capable of establishing trust, as well as challenging stakeholders where relevant.
