Associate Director – Marketing

Adecco Public Sector are proud to be working in partnership with an innovative and proactive education provider to recruit an Associate Director of Marketing on a fixed term basis.

Fixed term contract 9-12 months, full time hours

Based in Middlesex, hybrid working available (3 days in the office per week)

Salary: circa £85,000k

This is a pivotal role to support in delivering effective brand management, content marketing and digital engagement objectives whilst continuously improving the organisation’s marketing strategy and approach. You will lead, motivate, and develop a team of professional marketing, content, and print employees to provide an efficient and effective service for both internal and external stakeholders.

Your role will involve developing and implementing marketing plans, ensuring they align with the organisation’s goals as well as delivering targeted and innovative marketing activities to maximise student recruitment. You will also provide timely advice and recommendations regarding market insight and analysis for student recruitment and programme development.

You will be instrumental in fostering strong relationships between marketing, content, digital experience, print and wider teams across the organisation whilst championing an integrated approach to all marketing, content, and print efforts.

We are looking for candidates who are immediately available, creative, highly organised and operational in their approach.

Candidate Requirements

  • Demonstrable experience of brand strategy, developing and implementing successful marketing communications strategies and plans within a Higher Education environment.
  • Experience in the use of digital marketing including programmatic advertising and social media channels and have an awareness of emerging social platforms.
  • Experience using CRM systems and marketing services.
  • Previous experience tendering for and working with advertising agencies.
  • Change management experience with the ability to analyse and identify key trends, present findings, and recommend solutions.
  • Ability to develop and manage effective working relationships with key stakeholders including external creative and advertising agencies.
  • Postgraduate management/marketing qualification or equivalent professional experience.
