Web Content Officer for a leading global financial services organisation located in Edinburgh.

Your new role
We're looking for a web content professional who is passionate about delivering a high-quality and continuously improving online and digital service. Working in an award-winning Communications team, you'll help ensure the work we do to check public money is spent well and help public services improve reaches the people of Scotland, and that our audiences can easily access the information they need. You'll also receive significant opportunities to learn and develop as you build your career.

You will be part of a multi-disciplinary Communications team, and will work closely with our Web Manager, Graphic Designers, Communications Advisors, Social Media Manager and Production Managers to help ensure a high-quality and continuously improving online and digital service. You will work on the continuous improvement of our website and online presence and keeping our website content updated and timely.

What you'll need to succeed
Experience with content management systems (ideally Drupal). Working knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript. An understanding of responsive design and development. Knowledge of accessibility requirements and W3C web standards. Image editing and optimisation skills with good attention to detail.
