A large organisation within the trade and retail industry, with a huge presence in Europe and UK offices based in Oldham, manufacturing and supplying their own products to major retailers. A growing challenger company with a significant market share with the opportunity of more growth, the role would suit an experienced Marketing Manager with a background in consumer product marketing looking to progress their career.
Your new role
As a Marketing Manager you will be a key link between UK sales and central marketing to maximise brand awareness across our customer base. You will define the activation plans and have previous experience in budget management, ensuring funds are allocated wisely along with updating the budgets on a monthly basis. You will cover a large marketing remit across different strategies, working with any applicable media and PR agencies in order to provide a clear message for the brand in the UK.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have a minimum of 5 years' experience within marketing, have managed a pre-defined budget and worked in a business with global or international exposure. You will be a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills using data to provide insight. You will have excellent communication, written and verbal skills as well as being open, creative, and team-orientated with a hands-on approach. You will be able to work well under pressure and in a complex and fast-paced environment.
What you'll get in return
You will receive an equivalent salary of £35,000-£45,000 (depending on experience), flexible working hours, plus finishing an hour early on Fridays, along with company bonus, medical and dental insurance and the opportunity to travel in Europe 2-3 times a year.
