Our client is a multinational financial services company.

THE ROLE

The marketing team supports with integrated marketing programmes which aim to ensure our marketing activities support the business objectives, build the company brand within the UK and that we communicate effectively with key external business channels and internal customers.

12-month FTC maternity leave cover

2x per week in the office

Salary: up to 45k + 10% bonus

Specific Responsibilities:

The job role will assist with the delivery of marketing plans to support key customers. These will include a range of internal, external and introducer marketing and communication activities as defined within the marketing plans. In addition, the role will assist with the management of marketing processes and digital assets as appropriate.

Events

Event management is a key area of focus for the department and an important activity to enable the business to engage with its target audiences and generate new business opportunities. Events may include trade shows, partners days, corporate hospitality and internal events.

This role will require:

  • The maintenance of an annual Events Calendar to capture all events which may be of interest to the business each year.
  • To prepare and maintain an Event Plan for each event to ensure details relating to each event are recorded, updated as the event progresses and shared with all individuals involved in the event.
  • Build a positive rapport and working relationship with the stakeholders for each event to deliver an excellent standard of customer service and ensure delivery of our customer service promise; stakeholders include our internal customers (sales teams), event organisers and marketing colleagues or agencies for any specialist activities such as media or social activities
  • Manage the activities for each event to ensure all activities are successfully completed within deadline and budget and event objectives and customer’s needs are meet.
  • Ensure that events are in line with the company’s brand identity and strategy
  • Be present on the day of designated events to ensure that things run smoothly
  • Ensure backup plans are in place should something go wrong on the day
  • Ensure that all parties are aware of and adhere to the relevant health, safety and insurance regulations.
  • Oversee post-event activities, such as Post Event Reporting, processing of invoices, return of equipment to storage.
  • Oversee the storage and management of event equipment and branded goods ensuring storage is organised and items are readily available as required.

In addition, this role will support the delivery of marketing activities to support the corporate and sales strategies which may include:

Communications, Media and Advertising

  • Supporting the delivery of external communications via e-tools and the CRM system
  • Assist with the collating, writing and delivering of regular internal communications as
  • required
  • Ensuring all created materials are compliant with corporate brand guidelines and approved within the approval processes required
  • Supporting awareness and communications campaign increasing social media coverage

Website Platforms

  • Maintaining and updating company & intranet and internet with relevant content
  • Support the management of Salesforce for mailings to introducers and brokers as required

Sales Support

  • Co-ordinate and prepare presentations/promotional materials including partner promotions
  • Co-ordinate Choices, the sales awards programme for brokers

Other Duties

  • Maintain the budget document to ensure all costs are recorded, PO’s raised, and invoices processed in a timely manner
  • General administration and other ad-hoc duties as and when required to support the needs of the department and business
