Marketing Executive (Fixed Term Maternity Cover)

Care in Mind have an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Executive to join our friendly and professional team based within our Head Office based in Stockport, where you will assist the development and implementation of a company marketing strategy. You will develop an understanding of the needs of key stakeholders within the organisation, devising marketing campaigns to increase awareness and support referral generation, understanding the market, keeping abreast of current relevant policy and market intelligence.

You will be required to work Monday to Friday over a 30-hour working week, which will initially involve remote working due to the current pandemic, with the scope of returning to an office setting on a blended working basis in due course. The role will be a fixed term maternity cover.

As a Marketing Executive you will

- Assist with the development and implementation of corporate marketing strategy. Planning, implementing and analysing marketing activity and campaigns.
- Develop the corporate branding guidelines and be responsible for the oversight of compliance.
- Oversee the marketing budget.
- Lead on the production of marketing collateral; writing and proof-reading copy, leading on relationships with external creative design/ printing agencies.
- Generate regular reports to monitor, evaluate and review marketing strategy and campaigns.
- Understanding key audiences and demographics, producing innovative and creative content to engage stakeholders and support referral generation.
- Lead and maintain the company website in line with strategy and organisational demands.
Social media: Responsibility for maintaining the company’s social media accounts in line with strategy and with the aim of increasing engagement. Monitor performance of each channel, regular review and reporting on activity.
- Develop a GDPR compliant, marketing mailer strategy, and create a distribution of marketing materials.
- Coordinate company events and lead on regular programme of educational events for key external stakeholders.
- Support the Business Development Team in the development of a CRM system.
- Work closely with the People Service department to coordinate internal marketing and support company Values.
- Attend relevant conferences/ events where appropriate.
- Develop an understanding the market and who the key customers are, keeping abreast of developments within the sector including current NHS/ Social Care policy and strategy and monitoring and reporting on competitor activity.
- Develop relationships with key stakeholders internally and externally.

Requirements of a Marketing Executive

- Degree/Level 5 or equivalent in a related business discipline
- Relevant previous experience in marketing
- Experience of working with WordPress and maintaining websites
- Experience of managing or co-ordinating social media accounts
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise workload
- Excellent written English and grammar skills
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Able to demonstrate an ability to think creatively to solve problems
- Able to plan workload effectively and work well under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Good numeracy and literacy skills
- Able to work autonomously and take responsibility for output
- Able to work effectively as part of a team and foster good working relationships
- Strong IT skills
- Analytical skills

Desirable Criteria

- Marketing courses/ qualifications
- Experience of design/ working collaboratively with design agencies
- Commercial Awareness
- Copy writing and design skills
