Our client, a supplier of FMCG products to a global customer base now has an excellent opportunity for a Sales & Marketing Executive to join their friendly team in Swinton, initially on a 12 month fixed term contract.

With a move to a pure B2B strategy, they have identified the need for a Sales & Marketing Executive to support the commercial function, in championing new business opportunities and to help develop & establish enduring relationships with our existing global client base and boost ROI.

Job Specification:

  • Lead & manage all marketing endeavours for new & existing retail accounts, with the aim of driving brand awareness & growth.
  • Bespoke brand presentations for corporate clients & retailers. This includes both general and retailer/region specific including statistics and market data to support our launches. Provide the layout and content ideation through to the copy before design put the deck together.
  • Customer & Retail Meetings – you may be required to attend and present a sales & marketing launch proposal plan to retailers selling the products. Compile deck to present promotional opportunities (including social media competitions and collaborations, exclusivity deals, in-store shelf talkers etc.)
  • Training Presentations – when required, provide layout & copy for product training decks. Attend sales & marketing focused meetings to present promotional activities and options for retailers launching products.
  • Digital presence – working with design on LinkedIn to build content creation & collateral for our page. Revamp & control the Linkedin Site with a focus on stockists, global presence & retail support.
  • Email Marketing – collate & manage email marketing. This includes both before and after every exhibition, using email marketing to follow up on sales leads & drive awareness of new products and launches. Note, email marketing templates must be created for before exhibitions/after exhibitions & new launches. Write copy for retail web banners & adverts. This also includes white copy & case studies.
  • Exhibitions & Events – help with the planning and execution of industry events, exhibitions, and webinars to enhance brand visibility and engagement with target customers and retailers. Work with all departments to planogram exhibitions & graphics. Complete & submit all exhibition digital portal content including images, NPD details, Awards and Adverts prior to each exhibition.
  • Creating & managing all branded collateral & all assets e.g., Look books, leaflets, flyers, e-catalogues, newsletters, e-newsletter, marketing decks and brand decks. Creating the copy for all the above.
  • Budget Tracker – Control, update & monitor the overall Marketing Budget Tracker.

The suitable candidate will be highly self-motivated, proactive and organised are essential qualities to succeeding in this position. The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years’ experience working within Sales and/or Marketing.
