Digital Communications Officer - Cardiff Until September 2021 £16 - £20 Per Hour
Your new company
This is an opportunity to join the Communications team within a public sector organisation based in central Cardiff assisting with their Digital Communications strategies.
Your new role
Your responsibilities will include the production and editing of content to be included on the organisations digital channels. This will include supporting content writers from across the organisation with policies and guidance, ensuring consistent and up to date information is included on the website and intranet. You will assist with developing and implementing policies and procedures to develop content, utilising the Content Management System where relevant; increasing traffic to the website via use of SEO techniques and by working with the wider Communications team on targeted campaigns.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be immediately available with previous relevant experience in a similar Digital Communications post having produced interesting content for digital platforms, including use of management of Content Management Systems and analytical tools. You will have excellent communication skills both verbal and written with good time and project management skills. Experience of working with Drupal would be highly advantageous.
What you'll get in return
£16 - £20 per hour. 35 Hour working week which will predominantly be worked remotely but will include the need to travel into the Cardiff office on a semi-regular basis. This is a six month temporary assignment.
