Head of Marketing - 12 Month FTC

As our Head of Marketing you have a passion for our product and the emotional connection this brings. You tell the story from beginning to end taking the lead for all consumer and trade marketing communications ensuring brand consistency and integrity across multi-channel campaigns. A strategic thinker, you will develop and implement the marketing strategy for Hallmark brand in UK & Ireland, using your multichannel experience to prioritize digital and build a show stopping pitch.

Head of Marketing Responsibilities:

• Create the 3-5 year multi-channel marketing strategy for the brand in line with the companies priorities, working with Commercial, Product and Creative teams, influence and gain buy in to the plan with key stakeholders.
• Analyse customer insights, consumer trends, market analysis, and marketing best practices to build successful strategies.
• Own the engagement and communication plan for our top 5 customers to maximize capture and conversion across all platforms (Brand and Own Brand). Manage content and updates for customer and internal touch points, establishing budget guidelines, participating in events, aligning CDP’s and providing additional sales support.
• Own and develop the marketing plan for our Independents channel.
• Own and develop of our Social Profile for Hallmark and our customer partners.
• Establish positioning, identify target audiences, and develop marketing plans with specific objectives across different channels and segments.
• Responsible for the marketing budget, ensuring spend is aligned to all product launches across the business and identify and measure return on investment.
• Lead the execution of marketing programs from start to finish, across on-line and print, ensuring the alignment of communications and messaging across all channels, leveraging internal support and driving collaboration.
• Ownership of analytics, across multiple platforms including tracking, attribution, measurement, and reporting of marketing tactics/campaigns against ROI and KPIs. Extract key insights for future campaign development and go-to-market strategies, complete with formal proposals and recommendations on tactics.
• Proficient with Amazon and Search Engine Marketing/Search Engine Optimisation (SEM/SEO) strategies.

Joining our Senior Leadership team your excellent communication skills and values can create a sale of product both internal and external and will lead a determined team to success. As the Head of Marketing we also ask that you:

• Have extensive experience of creating, leading and executing a multi-channel marketing strategy within a medium sized organization, ideally with exposure to a grocery environment or managing multiple brands simultaneously.
• Hold experience of brand management and/or Trade marketing, is a significant advantage.
• Are able to demonstrable experience with SEO/SEM and CRM software.
• Beneficial to have experience with online marketing tools and experience implementing and optimising Google Adwords campaigns.
• You will need solid knowledge of web analytics tools like Google Analytics and Adobe.
