We are seeking an enthusiastic Marketing & Administration Assistant who is looking for their first role in marketing.

The quality of our contact database is essential to the success of our telemarketing activity, therefore one of the key responsibilities of the role will be the general maintenance and cleansing of contact details. This might include; de-duplication, spelling corrections, updating marketing preferences, and removing out-of-date contacts from Syrinx. You will also be required to investigate email bounces, which may involved making phone calls and/or contacting people by email to ensure their data is up-to-date.

You will also be responsible for researching and preparing telemarketing lists for the Business Development Team. This might include exporting lists out of our CRM, purchasing new lists or downloading e-shot opens for follow-up calls.

Other activities include: maintaining a bank of marketing testimonials, maintaining a bank of marketing images, raising requests for PO's, updating product spec sheets, updating product information on the website, updating spreadsheets/reports, monitoring the marketing inbox, and supporting the Marketing Manager with any other marketing or administration tasks as required.

You will be expected to work closely with all team members, lending help where required, to ensure that all marketing objectives and deadlines are met. As such, on occasions you may also be asked to support with creation of marketing content, such as news articles, flyers or LinkedIn content etc.,

Marketing Administrator Responsibilities:

• Research and prepare marketing lists for the Business Development Team.
• Data cleansing and general maintenance of Syrinx contact database.
• Helping to maintain folders of images, testimonials, reports and marketing resources.
• Monitoring the marketing inbox and supporting the Marketing Manager with any administration required.
• Assisting with marketing content creation.
• Providing additional aid to the Sales, Marketing and Business Development Teams as required.

Marketing Administrator Requirements:

• Positive and enthusiastic manner.
• Highly organized and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and confident making high volume phone calls.
• Used to working in an office as part of a team.
• Flexible and able to cope with changing priorities.
• Previous experience with CRM systems (preferable but not essential).
• Able to demonstrate knowledge of what 'marketing' is and how it fits within the business.
