We are excited to share that we've been engaged by a rapidly growing global online retail company, who are looking to recruit an 'Account Manager' to join and work from their modern head office in the Bournemouth & Poole area.

Your new role
On a day-to-day basis the successful candidate will oversee campaigns and ensure that partnerships reach their full potential, for both company and partner. You will operate as the lead point of contact for all partner queries, where you will provide solutions to minimise their issues and be responsible for helping partners to maximise their opportunities. As part of your day to day activities, you will be required to keep partner records updated with all activity and actions and monitor agreed terms to ensure internal and partner compliance is upheld.

The role also requires you to monitor partner content and ensure it is up to date & live on all relevant web pages. You will support the management team to identify and communicate with potential partners and you will assist with partnership performance reports to assess return on investment and analyse for continued improvement.

What you'll need to succeed
To guarantee your success in this role, it's essential that you have a minimum of 2 years account management experience, which has been gained from working in either retail, eCommerce or B2B sectors, and have a strong understanding of the eCommerce industry as a whole. You should have a proven history of creating long-term relationships with partners/customers and have the ability to handle multiple accounts and tasks at any given time.

It is essential to keep up to date with the latest industry trends & developments, attend industry networking events and have the desire to expand your technical knowledge and partner relationships. You should have excellent written & verbal communication skills, and the ability to influence stakeholders across all levels.

In addition to this, it is critical that you have a positive, creative and innovative attitude, and are someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment. It is equally important that you are a highly organised and motivated team player, who works well under pressure and can manage a sometimes hectic and varied workload.

In terms of tools you will need to be proficient in Microsoft Office suite & Google Workspace and it is also desirable, but not essential, that you speak any additional languages.
