Bilingual Communications Officer - Temporary until August 2021 £17 - £22 Per Hour

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a new and expanding Communications Team for a public sector organisation in Wales.
Your new role
Working closely with the Communications and Public Affairs Manager and supporting the Senior Leadership Team you will be responsible for maintaining a proactive and responsive press office and for developing and managing the organisations growing social media presence. Responsibilities will include proactive engagement with journalists, supporting in the development and delivery of campaigns and increasing the organisations social media presence.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have prior experience of working either in journalism or in active press office role. This role requires you to be a fluent in both Welsh and English with excellent oral and written skills in both languages. Experience of working with senior leadership teams and in a political landscape is highly desirable.
What you'll get in return
This is a temporary position until the end of August 2021. Full-time working requirement with £17 - £22 per hour depending on your level of experience. This position is currently being worked on a remote basis.
