Exciting Opportunity for a Digital Optimisation Manager within a Leading Hotel Chain!
Your New Company
You will be working for one of the largest and well known hospitality companies, who's ambition is to become the world's best-managed hospitality company by delivering the best guest-centred experience in the industry. Despite the effects of COVID on the hospitality industry, your new company is looking to redefine their digital platform in order to provide consumers the service that they deserve when the market returns back to normal. The company are looking to grow their company on a digital and ecommerce platform in preparation for post lockdown and the new brand launch of 2 new hotels.
Your New Role
You will be coming into the company as a digital optimisation manager, reporting into the director of revenue and marketing strategy, You will be coming into the company as the digital optimisation manager, reporting into the director of revenue and marketing strategy. Your main responsibility is being in charge of the website, ensuring that user experience is optimised whilst on the online platform and how this converts into bookings/sales across all hotels. Another key responsibility would be to manage and drive the user experience across the digital customer journey, driving conversion and building engagement through all direct channels. You will be liaising directly with agencies to support the marketing plan activities and development of the branded websites and other direct channels.
What You Will Need to Succeed
The suitable candidate for the role, must have all the following requirements:
- Experience of delivering UX improvement plans and roadmaps
- At least 3 year's experience in ecommerce or digital marketing roles
- Experience and strong understanding of user experience is essential
- Creatively translate strategy and insight into improved user experiences
- Excellent command of the English language both written and verbal is essential
- Results orientated with analytical, commercial acumen
- Agency management experience
- Experience in the hotel industry would be advantageous but not essential
- Must also be flexible to stretch beyond your role, ie. additional marketing roles such as campaign management
- Experience in CRM is desirable
