Communications Officer (Fixed Term, 18 months)

Salary: £23,098 - £26,143
Job Type: Full Time, 18 months Fixed Term Contract
Location: South Manchester

Reporting to Communications Business Partner, the Communications Officer will be part of the overall Communications team that delivers high quality engaging pieces of work. These will be relevant to the business objectives, appropriate for various audiences, giving clear and informative information that allows customers, stakeholders and colleagues to be kept informed about business priorities.

About You:

You will be qualified to degree level or working towards a professional qualification, with strong IT and digital skills including Microsoft Office and social media platforms.

You will also have the following:

• Use of full Adobe software including InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator
• Use of video and editing desirable, through appropriate software, such as Premier Pro
• Understanding of email campaign software including analytics and evaluation
• Methodical and creative approach to solving queries
• Excellent copywriting skills, with experience of writing for a variety of audiences
