Product Manager - West Yorkshire Based

Elevation are working with an innovative organisation, that are extending their customer offering and due to this growth, now seek a Product Manager to be based in their West Yorkshire offices.

Reporting into the Director of Products you will join a wider team of Hardware Product Managers and be the lead for their Software Product Roadmap from end to end through to Go To Market - including:

*Responsible for the lifecycle of all software products, defining the functionality, quality and commercial proposition of software products.
*In addition to product functionality, quality, and business contribution, the SPM will be responsible for the development and maintenance of the software product roadmap.
*The SPM will be responsible for the identification of technology partners required to contribute IP used within the software products.
*Collaborating with the broader business, the SPM will be responsible for the development and implementation of go-to-market strategies for software products.
*Through cross functional collaboration, ensure the successful implementation of projects including, the management of timelines, scope, budgets, communications, quality, risks, critical paths, and resource constraints.
*Provide management with regular reports confirming progress across a range of agreed KPIs.
*Maintain a broad understanding of the current and future, through research, and attendance at appropriate events, and through the development and maintenance of a network of market experts.

What specific technical knowledge and competencies does the Job Holder require?

*Demonstrable past experience of successful management of products, definition, launch, and maintenance across multiple products. Preferably with software products
*Good working literacy in all common product management software tools including Project management tools.
*Strong working understanding of both Waterfall and Agile project management methodologies.
*Evidence of a good understanding of software architectures and associated development methodologies and coding practices.
*Evidence of creation of successful commercial business cases and using this to help prioritise product development decisions.
*Strong project documentation skills including functional and technical specification creation.
*Poses the necessary financial skills and experience to construct robust business cases.
*Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to interact with technical and non-technical team members.
