Business Development lead - London for US law firm
Are you an ambitious and high-energy individual looking to take ownership of an international remit?
We’re excited to be partnering with one of Europe’s fastest growing US law firms, in search of a business development lead for their European operation.
With line of site across both the European leadership team and the firm’s New York-headquartered Marketing and BD directorate, you’ll pick up a genuine grass roots remit, with a mandate to define and implement a BD and Marketing strategy covering the firm’s London, and wider European office network.
Day to day, you’ll be responsible for:
- Working in partnership with the firm’s London managing partner and New York MBD leadership team to devise and implement go to market strategy;
- Optimising and driving the firm’s client targeting programme with a focus on tracking pursuits and ROI, identifying opportunities to cross-sell across practice lines.
- Establishing process and best practice across core BD capabilities, such as centralised resources and credentials for pitches and a suite of sales enablement tools
- Activating the firms European marketing strategy through a blend of online content and event and sponsorship activities (utilising external support as and where appropriate)
This is an exciting opportunity for someone to come in and lead an international function, joining a partnership bought into a proactive and ambitious way of targeting and winning work. We’d be keen to speak to individuals with a willingness to roll their sleeves up and deliver high quality work in line with the US business.
