Business Development Manager

Business Development Manager - North

Elevation are working with an specialist healthcare organisation, that are recruiting a BDM to cover the North including; Yorkshire, North East, North West, Humberside and Midlands.

Reporting to the Operations Director, you will take responsibility for development of new business within the region in order to increase referrals from Local Authorities, CCGs and NHS.

Key Responsibilities Include:

*Ensure a continuous pipeline of referrals
*Raise the profile and promote services with commissioners in CCGs and Local Authorities
*Build relationships and opportunities with new funders
*Co-ordinate responses to RFIs, and RFQs and responses to AQP Provider Frameworks working closely with the Commissioning Directors and the Clinical team
*Tenacity when engaging with NHS CCGs, CSUs (where relevant), Local Authority Commissioning Teams, regional specialist NHS commissioning teams and hospital consultants and discharge teams and continue engagement in a positive manner
*Ensure necessary contracts are in place and that operations' teams are aware of the service delivery and reporting obligations of their contracts
*Line manager for Customer Engagement Executive and CRM Executive
*Gather insight into customer needs, customer expectations and satisfaction with the services being delivered

What specific technical knowledge and competencies does the Job Holder require?

*Demonstrable past experience of sales within the private or public healthcare sector
*Experience of care home, nursing care, etc
*Extensive experience of sales negotiation and contract pitching
*Ability to travel across the North and be based in one of the regions
