This is a broad ranging, hands-on career opportunity for a marketing professional to play a key role in this well-established, privately owned, leading brand, multisite car dealership. The role forms part of the senior team and reports to the MD and business owner and also involves working closely with the Director of Commercial Operations.
It carries responsibility for the full marketing mix and includes developing close working relationships with the brand partners at the manufacturer, liaison with marketing agencies including PR and effective communications and digital strategies. A key requirement is to deliver the marketing plan in line with both the manufacturer’s and the clients well-established car dealership brand.
You will develop and deliver integrated marketing campaigns from initial concept, deliver targeted marketing activity to generate enquiries and sales, make maximum use of the manufacturers portal and work closely with the sales management team to ensure that communications on offers and pricing are communicated to maximum effect.
You will have the support of an experienced digital marketing specialist and also utilise data analytics to achieve maximum impact. Importantly you will be given the scope to define, own and deliver the marketing plan for the business. This will include ensuring that there is an integrated and cohesive plan across all channels and that budgets are managed within agreed guidelines.
A high calibre individual on an upward curve in their career is required. You will need to have a good quality university degree and also CIM qualification and your career to date will have been built in high quality companies in which B2C, retail, branding, digital presence and PR are all strong characteristics. You will also have strengths in market research, database and systems management and whilst experience of working with major automotive brand partners would be advantageous this is not essential. You will also need to be commercially aware, have high levels of credibility with colleagues, be an excellent team leader and also have a winning personality.
