Senior Business Development Executive
A role for a Senior Business Development Executive to join the marketing and BD function of a law firm based in the North West of England.
This is a newly created position to join the marketing and BD function of a highly regarded firm and work closely with the partners and engage with them around delivery of the BD strategy. You will take a commercial responsibility for driving through actions, knowledge and delivery through your relationships with the internal teams. You will deliver on bid and pitch activity within your allocated sectors and practice groups - working alongside the specialise bid support team. This role is about embedding and delivering on best practice within a firm which is taking strides forward during a time when many have stood still.
This role represents a huge opportunity for individuals with the right skills and mindset to take the next step in their career. You will be given responsibility, accountability and have the support of the team around you to ensure you succeed. Of course there are challenges in the role, as with any similar position and you will need to have a proven track record within business development and enabling sales through internal relationships. You will have an understanding of the dynamics of a partnership and the challenges that this represents. Some experience with the bid and pitch process will stand you in good stead as will excellent written and verbal communication.
