Head of Broadcast Media
£50-£60k base + bonus £10-£15k +pension. Our client is based in Brighton and now seeks to appoint a Broadcast Media Director to take the lead on all broadcast opportunities for their clients and to manage and lead the media team. This is a newly created role working for a superb PR agency who focus on the b2b design and branding market.
As the Media Director / Head of Broadcast, you will be responsible for delivering the broadcast output of one of the agencies biggest accounts, this will be, across TV, radio and partnerships. You will also lead the team of around 12 media consultants and part of your role will be to put in place a 'best in class' training programme to really lift their skills and make them a dynamic creative team.
In addition, you will shape the broadcast agenda for the agency's clients and ensure the team has a clear understanding of behavioural planning positioning and how to apply it in media. You will deliver a clearly defined cross-media broadcast planning approach, and review strategies and opportunities with senior management. You will also lead the broadcast approach in new business pitches, and represent the agency externally through PR, conference appearances and industry events.
As the Media Director / Head of Broadcast, you will have exceptional relationships with a cross-section of business broadcast journalists and presenters, the goal is to gain broadcast opportunities on the BBC, SKY to radio outlets.
In return, they will offer a base of £50-£60k + £10k-£15k bonus, plus pension and package. They are based in glorious Brighton and will offer flexible working with work from home options, (once back to normal, fully remote at present), this is a newly created role and will see you being part of the senior management team, this is really a chance to make this role your own and to shape and drive this division.
