POST- Recruitment are looking to recruit a B2B Marketing Manager to join our client, a highly respected, market leading tech business based in Central London – Hybrid (2 days in the office) working.

The B2B Senior Marketing Manager plays a critical role in the day-to-day planning, overseeing and execution of the marketing campaigns in line with the company’s marketing strategy.

While predominantly B2B focused, the Senior Marketing Manager is accustomed to working in a client-centric environment and works closely with other business functions to ensure the successful delivery of campaigns that support downstream and upstream business opportunities.

The Senior Marketing Manager has experience in blending marketing tactics, both online (CRM, email etc) and offline to deliver successful campaigns.

The Senior Marketing Manager has an acute understanding of audience segmentation and targeting and the role it plays in delivering impactful, targeted campaigns, for the development of the entire business.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Strategise, execute, and optimise a data-driven campaign strategy to achieve campaign goals that support the marketing strategy
  • Responsible for developing campaign methodology that includes using segmentation, targeting & positioning, marketing automation & nurturing activities, A/B testing, multi-channel development, that engage and convert audiences across the buyer journey.
  • Be well-versed in positioning and messaging structures to deliver the optimum reach across audience segment.
  • Collaborate with other business functions to build campaigns based on prescriptive persona-based buyer journeys, supporting up- and down-stream efforts
  • Build and deliver successful campaigns that cover both long-term brand building directives, as well as shorter-term sales activation results
  • Provide ongoing reporting and campaign / audience insights demonstrating progress towards business objectives.
  • Continuously assess, improve, and implement efficient and scalable operational workflow from campaign implementation through delivery, and tracking ROI across campaign spend

Your Experience:

We’re looking for a candidate that is excited about excellence and playing a critical part in the business’ focus on serving our client’s customers better. You are comfortable working in a structured environment, with the agility to adapt to constantly changing priorities. You can work independently, and as part of a team and confident to suggest improvements to work more efficiently.

  • Background in applying research methods and approaches to understand market trends and consumer behaviours. You understand the core tools of market research, including focus groups, concept testing, interviews, competitor analysis, customer segmentation, surveys, and the analysis and synthesis of data in the public domain.
  • Competently identify consumer, industry and technology trends and analyse how they might shape the future of an industry. You can analyse how competitive forces within a market affect businesses and consumers.
  • Construction industry knowledge (including all members of the construction process) would be desirable
  • Ability to conduct basic statistical analysis of surveys and other datasets.
  • Understanding of the design thinking process and the role of research in new product development.
  • Ability to construct compelling narratives and present research findings in a way that can engage stakeholders and drive decision making.
  • You have strong writing skills, including both in-depth research reports and consumer-focused editorial copywriting.
