This is an incredible opportunity to use your experience of managing research projects to help find solutions to the greatest environmental problems facing our planet. As part of the world’s principal independent conservation organisation we want you to take a lead role in helping bring our organisation closer to our supporters and the broader public by providing strategic and tactical consumer research and insight to help unlock the potential as well as drive impactful delivery of our audience engagement.

We have ambitious goals to increase our support and income over the next few years, and research and insight will be key to deliver this strategy. As Senior Insight Manager you will collaborate with colleagues to deliver insight to support the design and evaluation of our supporter engagement activities - including our brand work, communications development, fundraising and campaigning -  as well as create a portfolio of research that will best support our work. Leading a small team, you will plan and schedule research activities, ensuring it is delivered to the highest quality and with commercial and practical relevance.  You will bring expertise in social, market and behavioural research, employ best practice methods and oversee partner organisations. You will also find ways to improve our data structures so that we are able to analyse data at pace as well as take responsibility for meeting all data compliance requirements.

You must have extensive experience in designing and managing research projects in the Market or Social research sector and the ability to take projects through from research design and proposal through to presentation and embedding. You will be used to working across the full quantitative and qualitative research cycles too. Highly analytical and creative, you will adept at interpreting data and producing great reports that inspire.

Calm under pressure you will possess good communication and presentation skills, an eye for detail and the ability to multi-task. You will also be an effective project manager.

Knowledge of the charity sector as well as analysis tools, such as SPSS would be an advantage.
