Do you have good knowledge of medical devices? Are you great with people and able to convince organisations and individuals to invest in life-saving and condition monitoring devices such as defibrillators, CPR Kits and blood pressure monitors?

If so, you might be perfect for a brand new Sales Manager - Medical Devices role at the British Heart Foundation (BHF).

About the role

We recognise that growing our income is a route to funding more life-saving research and we're looking for innovative ways of doing this in a way that reflects our core values and listens to our many stakeholders.

In this newly created role, as Sales Manager for Medical Devices, you'll identify, develop and implement opportunities to increase the sales and availability of life saving and condition monitoring devices.

Reporting and working closely with our Commercial Director you'll be involved in launching this exciting new initiative and spearheading the growth of this activity, as well as the growth of a team over time.

You'll be tasked with growing sales of defibrillators, CPR kits, blood pressure monitors and other similar and emerging technologies directly to our individual customers and supporters and to large companies and organisations as part of their Health and Work, Health and Safety and Wellbeing strategies.

The scope of your role will grow in line with initiatives such as the National Defibrillator Network, compulsory CPR training on school curriculums and through demand initiated through our fast growing Health at Work function.

About you

With good knowledge of medical devices, you'll be adept at championing them and successfully demonstrating their value to our customers.

You'll be an ambitious self-starter, relishing the opportunity to take on responsibility for a developing and launching new initiatives and a new team at the BHF.

Able to demonstrate a thorough understanding as well as credibility in the sales and use of medical equipment or devices, you'll be able to operate self-sufficiently while dealing with senior teams at organisations of all sizes.

You'll also need the commercial experience and skills to maximise financial return while remaining aligned to our strategic goals and charitable mission.
