Business Development Executive - Chester - £25k (£35k OTE)

Highly-respected digital agency, based just outside of Chester, is looking for a Business Development Executive to join their sales team, helping to increase client numbers for their inbound marketing services.

Reporting into the Digital Strategist, you will research prospective customers, create outreach strategies and identify sales opportunities. You will conduct exploratory conversations with potential customers, using your business acumen to identify how the agency could help potential new customers develop and grow.

You will conduct high volume prospecting (60-100 activities per day) to qualify leads through calls, emails, and social media. You will schedule marketing assessments and discovery meetings for the Digital Strategist to further assess a prospect's business and potential for partnership. You will conduct qualification assessments with specific prospects (dealing, for example, with all inbound leads) and help these clients realise the potential of digital marketing - specifically inbound marketing activity.

To be considered for this role, you will have experience of selling within a B2B environment previously. You will have a track record of high achievement, used to working in a targets environment and hitting/exceeding these targets. You will have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and have excellent written and verbal communication skills. You will have an interest in technology and the digital world, with an aptitude to master the company's sales tools and to understand the service that the company offers to its clients. Finally, you will have the ability to deal with objections and rejection, while thriving on and being driven by success.
