My client is a specialist manufacturer and supplier of food products worldwide. Partnering with national retailers, they sell their products UK wide and the UKI Brand & Communications team are responsible for B2C Marketing to engage consumers with their brand & products. Due to growth and changes within the team, we are partnering exclusively with this company to recruit the job of Marketing Assistant.
Your new role
As the Marketing Assistant you will support the Brand Manager with the new Digital Communications strategy. This will including writing and uploading content to the website, as well as managing their growing social media channels. You will also support with all internal communications enquiries; managing the portfolio of assets including on-brand photography, stock management and reporting etc. This is a great role for someone starting out in their career to work on B2C marketing channels as the business grows their capabilities in direct marketing.
What you'll need to succeed
You will either be a graduate with some work experience in placement years or internships, or perhaps be a self-starter already in a junior marketing position. You will be proactive with good communications skills in order to work well with stakeholders, and have a basic knowledge of digital marketing including web content and social media. You will have good knowledge of Ms Office, and any knowledge of CMS' and Adobe programmes would be an advantage. Offering training in this role, my client is looking for someone personable and enthusiastic, willing to learn and take on new responsibilities.
What you'll get in return
You will receive a competitive salary of between £22,000 - £26,000 (depending on experience) and have the opportunity to work in a job that offers development and growth - and a bit of fun!
