Purpose of the Job

The Digital Marketing Manager is part of the small Head office team based in Spitalfields London will be responsible for working with the leadership team, defining the marketing growth strategy and delivering an ambitious scaling plan for Miller Harris over the coming years.

They are looking to hire a hands on and strategic person will work closely with the leadership to understand the key objectives of the business and develop a robust marketing strategy to help them reach their aims.

This person will be a commercial B2C marketer with a strong expertise in delivering on an integrated marketing strategy. A hands-on approach to audience creation and analysis supporting an AI driven marketing approach.


Key responsibilities of the Digital Marketing Manager:

  • Responsibility for managing the digital marketing budget to deliver the eCommerce sales budgets through the .Com and Amazon channels.
  • Generate efficient online demand for Miller Harris through the use of paid digital activity (PPC, Paid Social)
  • Develop the paid strategy and plan
  • Create and manage campaigns across all channels, including developing a clear structure for PPC campaigns, ad groups and keywords
  • Constantly test and learn across all activity to optimise ROI
  • Focus on quality score as a key driver of efficiency
  • Seek out new and effective ways of driving growth, including trialing new paid performance marketing channels
  • Competitor monitoring & analysis, using insights gained to improve business performance
  • Maximise the visibility of the business in organic search through SEO working with the marketing team to deliver appropriate content
  • Work with the Digital Director to ensure that the technical setup of the site is in line with best practice
  • Aligning the website to the needs of customer through keyword research on site and through paid search
  • Prioritising relevant content and working with the marketing team to generate it
  • Building high quality links through working with the marketing department and external agencies
  • Optimise the conversion of online demand through an ongoing test and learn approach, working to a target ROI
  • Measure and report on marketing effectiveness across all channels with a focus on maximising ROI and new client acquisition
  • Where agreed with the Digital Director source and manage agencies required to support marketing activity

Candidate Profile

We are looking for a highly commercially aware self-starter, able to demonstrate a track record of success in performance marketing. You'll enjoy building relationships and being part of a performance driven team. You need to be/have:

  • A proven digital marketeer with experience leading the roll-out of a digital marketing strategy
  • Must have strong strategic understanding whilst also being able to execute the strategy
  • Highly numerate and analytically minded - able to translate analysis into action to boost future performance
  • Experience directly managing a site's paid search performance to a target ROI
  • Good awareness of the fundamental drivers of SEO visibility, with experience improving organic visibility and traffic
  • Experience of using traffic and ranking tools (e.g. GA, search console, SEMrush) to report performance working with external agencies
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement

Ideally with:

  • Education to degree level or equivalent
  • Experience of leading marketing within a similar B2C (ideally in the luxury brand space) business
  • Experience of using a marketing automation tool
