Your new role
You will manage presence across channels and maintain a content calendar that reflects business need/priorities. You will maintain, grow and adapt strategy, audience and engagement by developing content based on analytics and business aims. You will have proven track record creating, monitoring and analysing social media advertisements via platforms like Facebook Business Manager. You will hold briefings on video production teams/agencies to create optimal social media content for a variety of platforms/placements in line with best practice. You will have the ability to identify good opportunities for stories across the organisation and/or via social media analytics, trends and performance, and work closely with comms colleagues to make these a reality for online channels.
What you'll need to succeed
Your experience working in a similar field in marketing and communications, preferably as a social media manager or content creator will lead to your success. You will have experience of delivering multi-channel content for a business or organisation. Experience developing and delivering social media strategies that has delivered tangible benefits across an organisation/department. You will have experience of independently creating multimedia content including photography, copy, blogs, video and GIFs (Photoshop skills desirable. You will be able to demonstrate strength in social media copywriting; creating easy-to-understand, concise content from complex topics is a must
