Do you have ITIL framework experience and are able to ensure projects are delivered to service? Have you previously worked on security projects, providing an engineering and infrastructure resource?

We're looking for a Security and Infrastructure Project Engineer to join us and focus on the implementation and delivery of security projects to the British Heart Foundation (BHF).

In this job you'll work within ITIL frameworks ensuring all projects are correctly delivered into service, with appropriate and completed documentation, monitoring requirements, testing and an agreed and approved support model.

You'll also provide a transfer of knowledge and associated skills training to the support team, providing assistance in supporting the IT infrastructure across the organisation when required.

About you

You'll have previous ITIL knowledge and experience, formal certification preferred and will also have strong technical knowledge and practical experience of:
* Microsoft Server and Active Directory
* Virtualisation Technologies (notably VMWare)
* Networking Technologies (LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi)

You'll be able to develop strong working relationships with the Project Management team, able to provide regular feedback on assigned projects. You'll ensure that responsibilities are understood in relation to all project work; and projects are delivered to agreed timeframes, analysing the requirements of new projects, providing input and suggestions around the design, configuration, implementation, and testing needs.

With experience working with Microsoft Windows Server and Active Directory, you'll have previous experience with Firewalling, Encryption, Anti-Malware and Internet Filtering technologies.

You'll also have:
* Experience of delivering infrastructure projects
* The ability to communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, to identify and fix issues.
* The ability to triage and diagnose end user issues efficiently.
* Knowledge of prioritisation and escalation techniques.
